IBMC is assisting one of our clients in hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support daily legal and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as agreements, NDAs, contracts, and internal policies.
  • Prepare document summaries, checklists, and notes for internal use.
  • Maintain proper filing, tracking, and storage of legal documents (physical and digital), including contract databases and key deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for legal-related requests and documentation needs.
  • Liaise with external parties (government offices, legal firms, notaries) when required.
  • Assist in preparing compliance documents, regulatory submissions, and company filings.
  • Support due diligence processes by collecting and organizing relevant documentation.
  • Conduct basic legal research related to regulations, company law, employment rules, and industry requirements.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports and ensuring internal documentation aligns with regulatory standards.
  • Handle any ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by the legal team or management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a related legal support role.
  • Solid understanding of legal documentation, company administration, basic compliance requirements, and general regulatory concepts.
  • Experience handling agreements, confidentiality documents, and contract preparation support.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Willing to work hybrid from Bali when required.

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Experience working in or with a Singapore-based company.
  • Familiarity with Singapore legal processes, corporate rules, or regulatory frameworks.
